We wanted to take a couple of moments to let you know how much Zack enjoyed participating in this past weekend’s Phenom camp. In addition to having an opportunity to gauge himself against some of the best players in the country he came away learning some new drills that will help him going forward.
Although every parent thinks they know the areas that their son needs to improve upon to become a better player, an independent evaluation is always helpful. Consequently, while the events of the weekend are still fresh in the minds of the coaches, would you please forward along the results of Zack’s evaluation.
Again, thank you for a wonderful weekend.Zack, Lisa & Dave Brundage
Mizuno is proud to be a sponsor and partner of the Phenom baseball movement. The talent and coaching is going to be off the charts and I’m looking forward to being a part of it. The Mizuno truck will be there with all the new products. Good luck and see you there!

On December 2, 3 and 4th 2011, we attended a Phenom Nation minicamp/tryout in Miami, Florida. It was by far the best baseball instructional event that we have ever attended in the 7 years our son has been playing baseball. It was very detail oriented and extremely organized. It started and ended on time each day. The instructors were very knowledgeable and each had a baseball background. The instruction was very comprehensive and left nothing out. The boys were able to meet several current pros and former pros, some of whom gave instruction and inspirational talks to the boys. This was a college level advanced skills camp, and not a basic skills camp. The boys who were invited to attend were all upper level players with advanced skills. Our son definitely left with more skills than he arrived with. Having this group of kids together in the same location created a very competitive atmosphere resulting in a higher level of play.
Thanks so much to the Phenom staff for their dedication. We will definitely enter our son in the next camp that Phenom offers.Bennett and Angela Richardson
Just wanted to thank you again for allowing my son to participate in the Phenom camp. My son returned from the camp energized and excited about baseball like never before! It was incredible to see so many quality instructors in one location who were genuinely interested in my son and were able to teach at a level that he could not only understand, but also retain. My son’s current coach just shakes his head in amazement as my son utilizes his new learning on the field!
Thank you again for putting on a real camp with advanced teachings….a far cry from others we have attended! My son will without a doubt be at every camp you have in the future!
P.S. Having a mental coach at the camp was an eye opener….never really knew how important the mental part of baseball REALLY was until Dr. Hanson spoke at the camp. Nice touch making Dr. Hanson part of your staff!Scott
You have a remarkable group of young men. It was indeed a pleasure to see them come into the park together daily, and one could tell that these were not just 12 year old kids, but young men! From the parents to the coaches, and of course the players, we here in Arizona should follow your example of how a first class team and organization should be run. It is rare here that we get the opportunity to see a fantastic group of players like yours and truly it was our pleasure to have you here. I am humbled to have had the opportunity to see them play!!!! What you are trying to accomplish with them is notable, and I for one am wishing you the best of luck. I hope your stay with us was comfortable and that everything went well, and that you all made it home safely. I also apologize for some of those Arizona spectators that don’t truly understand the game of baseball and don’t appreciate your group of excellent young men. Please do not let them change your mind about coming out here for Spring Nationals in March. WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU BACK!!!! Thanks for all that you do!! It must be a tremendous undertaking, and I know that I speak for our State Directors, Eric Bell and Rick Perreault when I say keep up the hard work…good luck, and God Bless…..Your team is awesome and we would love to see you in the spring.
